    I was helping a buddy upgrade his RAM on his laptop last night. I followed the documentation that came with the laptop. When I opened the panel underneath it only revealed one memory slot!?!?!
    I was hoping someone could point me in the correct direction to find the other memory slot, is it it hidden underneath the keyboard or harddrive?
    The laptop he has is a Satellite M105-S3064. (Couldn't edit the subject line)

    Thank you for your help.

    Most likely hidden under the keyboard. If there is only one expansion slot in the main area, the other expansion slot is, 9/10 of the time, under the keyboard.

    Yeah. Half the time it seems like the computer designers never even thought about the fact that the end-user might want to eventually upgrade without performing brain-surgery :D.

    Hey, quick question. Most of the laptops I've worked on are Dells. To get under the keyboard on a toshiba, do you have lift a panelon top of the keyboard (underneath the monitor) and remove two screws? Or are toshiba's a little more involved than that?

    @kowell

    MSI has a couple of notebooks that have BOTH SODIMM slots under the keyboard. Talk about a pain in the arse.
