Which store do you recommend? I'm in Canada.

Staples: Don't trust them too much, but ready to consider them. Warranty 2 years, 300 bucks.

Future Shop: Very expensive warranty, 370 $ for 2 years, 420 $ for 3. Unwilling to negociate prices.

    Best Buy: Very little selection.

Compusmart: They told me that the model I wanted was discontinued and Toshiba denied that.

I guess that's a problem in Canada, we don't have many choices.

I’ve had a very good experience with Best Buy. I’m a heavy computer user, my laptop works 24x7. There is no perfect laptop, they all break. Toshiba, IBM, HP, Dell, doesn’t netter. But if you have a good warranty, you’ll get piece in mind for 3 years. For last 4 years I replaced 2 laptops and paid only for an extended warranty. Thanks to Best Buy “No Lemon” policy.
BTW, $249 for a regular 3 years warranty. Batteries are covered also for 3 years.
$349 (I believe) for an extended 3 years warranty including physical damage.

Toshiba warranty covers batteries only for 1 year, even the System Guard warranty.
