Which store in Canada should I buy my Toshiba laptop from?

Future Shop? Staples? From the Toshiba.ca website?

What are your experiences with them and what about the extended warranty?

    Thanks!

I've had some experience with Toshiba's tech support - they seemed fairly friendly and actually know what they're doing.

Thanks. I'm thinking of buying from Future Shop. They have an expensive extended warranty, but seeing on how a lot of laptops seem to break down, it must be worth it.

Even though I'm in the U.S, I've heard nothing but praise about FutureShop from forum members here.

Yes - Futureshop seems to be a reputable notebook dealer - I don't know about their support, but if it's as good as customer satisfaction is (which it probably is), it'll be great.

hi if you do buy your laptop at futureshop I wouldn't get the extended warranty from them I would buy if directly from toshiba as you can get an addtional 2 year parts and labour from them for cheaper than futureshop, also with futureshop (depending on where you live) they send your notebook away for repair and I have heard that some people do not get their notebook back for 4 to 6 weeks. I have bought a toshiba laptop from both futureshop and staples I like staples better as their staff is not paid by commission so they don;t push you to buy something that you don't want.

Future Shop is the same as Best Buy, only their uniforms are different :p
