Hi, im new here, i have a toshiba satellite 1130 laptop its switching on fine, after booting up, if we check my computer or mydocuments or any pictures, its suddenly changing to complete white screen, you can't do anything with it the only option is completely switch it off and on again but when the white screen appears if we connect with the external monitor we can see what it should show on the external monitor. so i found out its not an issue with any of the system properties, its something to do with the monitor only but if any one of you have the same problem and solved it, could you please let me know what should i do or if any one know what could be the possible reason please give me some suggestion so that i can give a try. if any one have the wireless lan drivers or the service manual for my model, could you please pass it to me. thank you.

I'm not sure if this issue has been resolved for you or not, however, I'm sure somebody may find this information useful one day =)
The problem you're having is with the DVI data connector on the inside of the laptop. This connector terminates both under the keyboard housing and at the back of the screen flip-top
To access the connector under the motherboard, you'll need to use a flat bladed screwdriver to lift the plate at the top end of the keyboard (The one with the power button on it) followed by a small phillips head to remove the three keyboard retaining screws. Lift the top of the keyboard out, and with a small amount of 'jiggling', the keyboard should then come free.
Unseat and then reseat the connector for the monitor (Traditionally a red cable, coming out of one of the screen hinges) You may do this while the laptop is live.
If the screen still displays nothing, you'll need to disassemble the screen assembly. I suggest using a complete repair manual for this, as the procedure is quite complex, and likely to cause damage to your expensive LCD panel.
Cheers,
