    Hello everyone,

I wanted to order a Toshiba laptop from USA.. but my question is, will it work in my country Kuwait?

There is a sticker on all Toshiba laptops in Kuwait, saying something like " for middle east ". is there any hardware differences between the laptops in USA and the ones in Kuwait? like in terms of heating or whatever a difference is.

Will the laptop work probably here in Kuwait?

Please help me regarding this issue.. it is very important.

    Regards.

Other than the plug, I can't see any reason. "For Middle East" probably means they have Arabic Win 7 installed.

The issue will be on the ac adapter plug and voltage
USA uses 110-120 vac, and where you located the standard voltage is 220-240 Volts

Most modern laptop ac adapters are muli voltage and except from 110 -220 volts , so you will probably be fine with only an plug adapter from the standard North America to the Great Britain standard

I used my US Version Toshiba and Lenovo on a Business Trip to Dubai, I used atravel adapter to use either the UK or EU plug that was common there...
