The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Upgrade Discs received: March 2010

    Order processing time: 7 months!!!!

    Hey, at least the notebook is still working... :p

    Seriously though, the people Toshiba is farming this upgrade procedure out to really don't have their act together. I could never get a straight response from them using email, they failed to receive my faxes and weren't able to be contacted by phone either. It took multiple calls on my end to Toshiba's Tech Support over these last months to finally get the order pushed through and the discs delivered. Way to give a customer a hard time! :mad: :mad: :mad:

    Anybody out there to beat my record? 8,9, 10 months?
