Hi All,
Have anyone installed windows 7 on a Qosmio F50/X300?
If yes, where there any problems regarding hardware support as Toshiba EU (Not US) did not release drivers for these models and many others?
I have read that some people have problems regarding webcam/lan/wireless drivers, fn button, flash cards, etc...
Any advise on whether installing Windows 7 now or waiting till the drivers are available.
Regards

I have installed Windows 7 on a Qosmio X300.
Out of box, everything but the fingerprint reader, IR receiver and GPU worked.
I updated the audio drivers from the Microsoft HD Audio drivers to the Realtek HD drivers and installed the latest nVidia drivers, but left the IR receiver.
I'm having trouble getting the Toshiba Flash Cards software working correctly so I can FN+F9 to toggle the touchpad on and off from within Windows, but for the time being I've just disabled the Touchpad completely from BIOS. -
Thanks for the reply.
Toshiba is releasing drivers but still an ongoing process, so Qosmio drivers are not released yet.

Hi,
It seems that Toshiba released some drivers but my questions are:
1) Which to install and which is not needed?
E.g Firmware Update by Pioneer, what is that?
2) Also, I noticed that there are a lot of Vista drivers (around 100) but the released Win7 ones are much fewer (around 26) and so is that all?
Thanks
