This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I think Toshiba only sends it as part of the image CD these days. I didn't see any options to order the CD separately when I ordered my A100 from ToshibaDirect recently.

    Very very few (if any) computer manufacturers these days include a CD with an OEM XP CD. Mostly because of anti-piracy efforts on the part of Microsoft (in fact, it's probably in the Windows licensing contract). If the CD is just an image and is only meant for a certain series of computers, it's rather hard to pirate.

    If your notebook doesn't come with a CD, there should be a partition on your HD which can be burned to a CD/DVD for your notebook.

    normally they ship a quick restore cd. but if you already have a serial all you need is a copy of the msdn edition.

    ..but you have to remember to get the same version of the system to have chances that your cd-key will suit :) exactly you should be looking for an OEM version CD with the same SP included as your XP on recovery CD is (I hope you know what I mean) :)
