Would it be safe to use the dell xps1730 Nvidia 8700M GT SLI grapics driver by replacing the inf file with a moded one. I know it doesnt have SLI but I thought since its the same video card that it would configure it properly to work with windows or am I incorrect? I searched the Europe Toshiba site and they no longer have it listed. I found a Nvidia driver on their site but it did not work. I already know about the www.laptopvideo2go.com but figured it might be better to use the dell driver if it would safely configure it without the SLI. Thank you for any info.

The laptopvideo2go drivers work well with our systems, I'd recommend them over the Dell driver for sure... something in the later 169 series or the 171's should work really well for you, just follow the instructions on the site and they'll install fine.
