    Windows will not open on my Toshiba A80

    Hi everyone in new member here i have a toshiba A80 but cannot open windows goes to open with safe mode or normal windows tries to open then blue screen with A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down.
    Then it says disable or uninstall any antivirus, disk defragmentation or backup utilities. check the hard drive. Run CHKDSK /F then restart but cant open anything to do this, Technical infomation

    Can anyone help me?

    thats wierd have you got another computer that you could google this on? You could also try ringing tech support

    just a note to run cdisk you need your os disk and if xp run repair console. also a question did you turn off the latop when you were logging on?
