    Hello,

I recently received a Satellite L40-12N with Windows Vista installed.

After replacing Windows Vista with Windows XP Pro SP2,
I can't get my Wireless LAN to work anymore.

I installed the Atheros WLAN drivers for XP.
    The drivers install was succesful,
and according to Windows device manager, everything is working properly.

Nevertheless, i can't detect my wireless router of 5 feet away.
I think it has to do with the WLAN switch in front of the notebook.
Does this switch requere a special driver or software ?

Or is there any other solution to this problem ?

    Kind regards,

    Cris

Normally the wireless switch runs off of either your hotkey driver or a specific wireless switch driver.
