I bought a Mini Wireless LAN card to fit inside my A35. It fits in there fine, drivers install and appears to be ready to use. Except that it cant pick up any signal. The attenna is hooked up to the card and the switch on the side of the laptop is turned on. That is the wireless switch. There is an led light next to that switch but the light only flickers when i first power up my machine. I dont know if the attenna is busted all together or what. Any ideas?

Sounds like you might have a bad card, I heard of one other time where the light didn't come on the way it should have, but I can't remember what the cause was. Did the switch come installed on the machine or did you buy it with the card? Does the hardware profile say that the card appears to be working or not?

Yea the hardware manager says that it is working. And the card is not defective because i put it in my other dell notebook and it works perfectly. I am wondering if its something to do with my built in antenna not working correctly.
