On a 1955 Satellite running XP, how do I prevent the "Wireless Network Not Available" balloon from popping up every time I start the computer?
I've turned off the wireless networking switch, and unchecked the "Alert me when wireless networking is not available" box in the advanced properties menu, but it still appears.

    Thanks.

try going to Network Connections (Start > Control Panel > Network Connections) and then right click on the wireless connection and select "Disable". This should choke things off for sure.

Here's a Registry Tweak that will disable all popup balloons in the notification area (if you want to use it).
