Would the m35 with a pentium M be good for this use:
CD Burning
Listening to music
Watching DVDs
Video Editing (short stop-action animation videos mainly)
Watching videos (from hard drive, not DVD)
Picture viewing
Basic Productivity (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
3D graphics viewing
probably not games, but if so only light games (Things my Windows 98 desktop can take on)
That's about it

I'd take a look at this:

It basically has the same specs, but it is $250 cheaper, plus there is no tax on the internet. Then you'd have some money left over to upgrade to a faster hard drive. Good Luck.
