well, whats your resolution on the notebook?
By default vantage runs at 1280 X 1024. -
Technically its an X205. Happy now? DX Diag reports it as a X200. Its got a 512mb Nvidia 8700GT

If you have a lower end X200 with the 1440*900 screen you will not be able to run Vantage. You will need to use an external monitor that supports 1280*1024 resolution.

That really pisses me off that I paid for a product that wont even run on my computer. Why dont the buggers come out with a patch to let us run at the nearest resolution. I thought most of the X lineup came with the 1400x900 WXGA and only one or 2 high enders came with the higher resolution screens.

um, 1280 X 1024 is a pretty standard resolution....
Its a 17" normal screen monitor resolution. Its not "standard" for widescreen resolutions, and if you bought vantage, you can change the resolution yourself. It just won't be an official result as they specify the official test specs at 1280 X 1024. Solution would be just connect your notebook to a monitor that supports 1280 X 1024 and then run Vantage off of that screen.
Vantage 1st and for most is a benchmark for High end desktops, you'll be hard pressed to find someone using a monitor lower than 1280 X 1024 who would want to know how their system performs for gaming. -
