Anyone who has the X205-S9359 or the SLi3, I am interested in the remote specifications. Is it like the old media center express card remotes, or is it like a television remote?

The Remotes that came with Laptops are not actually TV Remotes but Media Center Remotes which is standard and usable for all who are using Media Center.

I know that, used to be the norm, but the X205 high end models have a HDTV tuner, and I read somewhere that they are TV remotes. I wanted to see if that was actually the case or not.

Maybe you are referring about the X205 that have an external USB HDTV Tuner. Includes a USB external HDTV tuner for playing live HDTV from an antenna or cable or satellite set-top box but it did not came with remote.

Hm, the tech specs changed, because I remember it being there. It is definately on the SLi3's tech sheet though.
