my X205 has been BSODing for a few months....I assumed it was "bit rot", so I tried doing a clean install. BSOD repeatedly, so I went to the OEM recovery discs. After literally 10 attempts, I finally made it through the restore without crashing. This pretty much determined that it was a hardware, not software issue.

Anyway, thanks to my extended warranty, it's at Toshiba and should be back soon. According to their online site, it got a new motherboard and a Bios update. Just wanted to share.

****** they 2nd day air their box, and it's been "in repair" for nearly a week....so don't be in a hurry if you want your machine fixed (Lenova is overnight and same day repair)
