Anyone play a DVD and notice during scenes with no music, just talking, the sound is really scratchy?

I noticed on WMC the volume control only shows it going up to 50, not 100 as the speaker volume is. And I see no settings to change that volume cap. And I have the same problem in other programs such as Nero Show Time (came with my burning software).

If so, know a fix to this, or a setting that I might be overlooking? :)

    Thanks!

Look for a Dolby setting menu, I didn't have the scratchy sound issue, but when I first played a movie (HD-DVD) the volume was extremely low. When I found that menu, it showed the X205 was defaulted to 5.1, I switched it to 2.1 and the sound was loud and clear, 5.1 would only be useful if you hook your laptop up to your hometheater.
