As Toshiba powerful laptops are well known to overheat due to clotting of heatsinks, I am wondering if any X205 owners can tell me if you can access the heatsink without completely disessembling the whole computer? I am using the Satellite P105-S9339 at the moment, and to access the heatsink for cleaning, I had to take the whole computer apart, it took me a good 40 minutes just doing that. Thanks.

You have to take the laptop completely apart to get to the heat sinks, I know cause I changed the cpu to the T7700 and if you are interested also created a disassembly guide to help people take their X205's apart if needed.

    :p  ;) :D

Get a can of compressed air, shoot it through the fan and the heatsink, should get all of the dust out. Also consider undervolting if you havent, lowered my max cpu temp by 20+ degrees c from 80 to 60
