I know some Toshiba X205 owners switched to Gateway P-6860FX before. I'm asking if it's worth to change my currrent laptop (X205-S9359) to a Gateway P-7811FX which will be coming out in couple of weeks?
I will be playing games on it of course :)

I googled your model(s5359) and couldnt find anything on your specs. If you could list your exact specs, ill give you an honest opinion, as I am of the mindset no one should spend money if they dont have to.

Thats kind of a hard call, as thats a pretty powerful machine. However, you will benefit from better resolution and the ability to play more games at said resolution. The answer to dtwns question pretty much is the determining factor.

i think your x205 can pull through at least 6 more months, no rush, you would get a better gpu in the gateway but beside that, not much to drool on.

Honestly, with your games, you won't see much of an increase in performance with the 7811FX.

Now if you were looking at Crysis or COD 4 or the like, the 7811FX would be a better decision.

To oversimplify it, Starcraft would run equally well on your machine/a P6860FX or a 7811 FX.
