    Hello everyone~

i got my s9359 few days ago.

i re-installed Windows Vista Ultimate because i didn't want to have all junky softwares that are pre-installed. I did it with different Vista Ultimate DVD that my brother had previously, not with Toshiba Recovery disks.
maybe it was a dumb choice.

and here's problem that i have now.
as you all know, the laptop comes with two separate HDDs (160GB each).
after i re-installed Vista, it doesn't recognize the second hard disk. (The one from Hitachi i believe?)
it shows only one HDD in "Computer" icon.
am i missing something here? something like, driver maybe?
    help me out please~

thanks, you all have a nice day.

p.s) sorry if you couldn't understand. English is my second language so i'm trying..

Right click on my computer and select ''Manage''. It will open up a new window and from there find ''Disk management''. There you will see the drives you currently have. You can create your second hard drive from there manually. It will take you thru some steps like naming the new hard drive and formatting it if you want. It should be easy.

I hope this will help you or some other friend here in the forum will describe it more technically :)

    Good luck

That's strange. I gave the same advice to someone else here a week or two ago, but when I reinstalled Vista from scratch, both of my drives were recognized immediately. I wonder why some have problems with it?
