    I'm trying to set up my laptop to allow recording in for my guitar. I have my guitar plugged into a preamp into what I believe is the line-in on the laptop. I also have ASIO installed. Problem is I can't get it to register any sound aside from using the microphone, which is not preferable to GuitarRig.

    Any suggestions?
