    Hi all,

I have a small problem with the game PES 2008 working on my lappy X205-S9359. The problem is I can not get the game working with the native resolution which is 1680x1050 for this laptop. I am using the stock drivers came with the machine. What would be causing this? Is it a driver issue?
    Thanks in advance.

What do you mean you can't get it to work? Is the res not available to choose, does it not work when you select it?

Oh sorry. I should have made it clear. Yes the resolution is not available to choose. The highest res. I can choose in the game settings is 1280x1024! What is causing this?

Try upgrading the drivers. Also, that resolution is a regular 4:3 aspect ratio. Your screen is 16:10 ratio, so of course you're not gonna find your resolution under those settings. Try to see if you can change the aspect ratio of resolutions, as this will give you a choice of widescreen resolutions and with the updated drivers you should find the right one.

Thank you adinu I will try that.
About the aspect ratio, in the game settings 16:10 ratio is already selected but I think the problem is as I can't change the scaling under ''change flat panel scaling'' in the Nvidia control panel. Whatever I choose in there, it goes back to ''use my display's built-in scaling'' option.Do you think that's why I can't see 1680x1050 resolution in my game?
