Hey guys, I'm new to the forum but have used this site ever since I bought my sli1 about 6 months ago. Now first you must know several things, 1: I'm currently in Iraq(dusty as hell), 2: I've upgraded the cpu, the RAM and the hard drives (no warranty). I put the new cpu in about a month ago and it's been working fine until now. The first thing that happened was the computer froze up while I was sleeping, so I shut it off and turned it back on. The display wouldn't turn on and it gave me 1 long beep and 2 short beeps. I tried turning it off and on several times, and then after about 4-5 times it started up again but froze when I got to the OS selection screen. Ever since then It won't do anything except the BIOS beep code. I've tried using the old RAM, tried the old hard drives, and this morning I took the T7700 cpu out, put the old t7250 back in and took the battery off the chipset for about 30 minutes, still same beeps and no display. I found that the beep code means there's a video problem, so right now I'm going to take it apart and fiddle with the video cards, but I am wondering if it could be my display is dead or did my video cards just fry? The time it booted up and froze at the OS selection screen there was no display corruption so I'm hoping it's not the gfx. Can anyone help me with this?

I had this beep code on mine after I tried modifying the bios on the gfx cards and had to have the video cards replaced, sorry to be the barrer of bad news. I believe when the video card that is connected to the motherboard fails is what usually causes this error code.
