Just picked up an X205-s7483 from Best Buy after an unhappy experience with an SLI model from there. Planning on dropping in a better cpu at some point but for now just want to try a clean install of Vista before I try to revert to XP![]()
If you have one of these notebooks from Best Buy, did it come with a Vista Anytime cd or just the Toshiba recovery disc?
I gather from reading the forums here that at least some of the other X205 series come with the Vista upgrade cd...
Thanks,
Bardolph

what happened with your sli version?

Had a bad habit when it came out of a full screen game back to the desktop of sizing the desktop way up in one corner or in a thin strip down the middle of the screen. I got the only one the store had so couldn't exchange it.

No, mine from Best buy did not come with an Anytime disc, just the recovery cd. Same thing with my SLi1 from Toshiba direct, neither one did... had to borrow one off a buddy.

Figured that might be the case. Thanks for the info
