Okay, so i wasnt paying attention and i spilled coke on my keyboard. The spill was near the bottom and i spilled a ton of soda. So i immediatly shut down the system and turned it upside down and tons of soda came gushing out. I Let it dry for a few hours before testing everything. And lucky me. Every key is working and none of them are sticky. But one thing is bothering me, Is it possible that some internal parts under the keyboard could have been damaged?
Ive been looking at some pictures of the keyboard on the internet, it seems as though there are no holes in the keyboard that could allow liquid to seep through. Should i send it to Best buy and have them check it, or would it be a waste of money and time. Thanks

If you've got accidental damage for it, you may want to consider sending it in to Best Buy to check it out for you. Most likely there's still some coke that's stuck on the motherboard or internal parts, so you may really want to have it fully cleaned up before it may cause some damage later on.

Thing is, Ive been looking at pictures of the keyboard. doesnt seem permeable at all, so i dont really think anything could have gotten onto the motherboard. Also my Accidental warranty expired.

If you're confident enough, you might want to take off the keyboard to make sure there's no coke residue remaining anyways. If a problem does arise later on due to this, and it's still under the normal warranty, you'll save yourself several hundred if you have to replace the motherboard.
