    I have a brand new X500 that was having issues with the SD card reader. I run Win 7 Home and the issue seems fixed with a driver update from Toshiba website. Funny, am I the only one with this problem?

    Never a BSOD on my 894. I used the SD reader on the front of the laptop without any problems (never used the 5-1 reader).

    Good to know you did fix it though

    Can you turn your LED keyboard on and off? I dont have that. I do have a Bi lingual option though.

    I don't have a Qosmio anymore; so I can't do the described instructions above. I exchanged my 894 for a Sandy Bridge 8102 Qosmio, then they were recalled the day after. WAiting until they are relaunched in March/April

    Hopefully someone else will chime in.
