    Hi

Have installed much games on the X500 with i7 740 cpu and GTX460m GPU, and have to say i am very impressed with both performance and temp.

Have played Bad Company 2 single player with everything maxed out (4*AA) (16*AAA) in full HD and Mafia 2 with all bells and wistels including physics high in the same resolution and with the GTX460m oc, and the temperature was 68 C, not bad in my opinion

Metro 2033 in DX10 high setting full HD and Arma 2 arrowhead demo with very high setting full HD was also a joy to play...nice laptop i must say, not to mention FSX in full HD and very high setting....one word...amacing

I'm not, though I am glad for Audi4ever and the other people who bought the more expensive Qosmios. For my needs, which are gaming, writing novels, surfing the web, and other basic computing needs, I saw no need for the power boost I would get from the i7 and honestly wanted to save the cash.

I have the Q894 with the i7 chipset.

Mine also never goes above 70 degrees when gaming (in fact I have yet to see it get to 70, usually will get to high 60s).

I've played SC2 on ultra settings, CS Source + IE + Chrome + Word + internet radio (all at same time w/o a hiccup).

So far very impressed with it.
