I am going to attempt to install XP on my a205. I have nlite 1.3.5 downloaded and want to slipstream the Intel Matrix Storage Manager so that the HDD will be recognized, but i want to be sure i have the correct one. It seems to me someone had the direct link from the Intel site, but i cannot find it.

Do i NEED to do this in order to install XP?
    Any help?
Any specific instructions for making the new XP disk with the sata driver?

Yes, you need to slipstream the Xp disk if you dont have a floppy drive.
    Search on Google for instructions.

what remains is exactly which driver i need, Ver:7.8.0.1012 or VEr: 7.0.0.1020 ???
( intel mobile GN965 chipset) and how to get it OUT of the .exe

It seems to me i saw a post on this, but i just cant find it.
Once i have the driver, WHERE do i place it on the slipstreamed disk( or does it place it automatically)?
