I want to know how you feel about toshiba subcontracting UPS to do your repairs. They usually cant deliver packages to my house without breaking them much less the finess to work on MY laptop! My .02.....Now I want yours!

The arrangement is over 5 years old and has served alot of people preventing down time. I was surprised when I found out about it a couple of years ago but I actually like to use this as a selling point when someone is interested in Toshiba.

If you think the guy drop kicking your package has anything to do with your laptop being fixed, then you need not worry about it, hand deliver it to Toshiba will ya lol. The techs at UPS are trained by Toshiba and I am pretty sure UPS actually hires or promotes people based on the ability to do this job.

As far as UPS or any parcel service goes. Mailing tons of packages causes inevitable damage. Repairing laptops isn't even in the same category, though you could sent it to HP have get it back with screw driver marks if you like. Or send it to ASUS and wait a year. I think the move was a good one.

What sucks is you did have to ship the laptop back and forth and there goes your unit when they drop kick it to your doorstep. LOL
