Hey. I've got an A15-s159 that's driving me crazy!
I've replaced (with known good components) the inverter, and the lcd, but I can't get video to the lcd. The external works fine. This has me stumped.
Anyone know of any inherent problems with these models in this area?
    Thanks,

I have an A15-S157 and have had no issues with the screen other than a number of dead pixels.

Dumb question, but have you checked the connector between the screen and the board?

I don't think there are 'dumb questions' when the subject is computers [:~)
Yes, I've replaced the ribbon cable also. I'm stumped.
