    A friend of mine has a Satellite A45-S150 and wants to upgrade the memory and the hard drive. Are the following memory and disk compatible with this laptop?

    Can he buy any 200 pin PC2100 SODIMM memory and any 2.5" hard disk, or do they have to be models specific to Toshiba?

    Use Crucial Memory scanner to confirm RAM, most any new internal 2.5" HDD will work. The scorpio looks good, but did not look up the ram. You should not need to buy the Toshiba upgrades, 3rd party should, to my knowledge, be ok for your model.

    That RAM should be fine as well as the hdd.
