I got mine...like it alot, a little quirky. runs real hot (1.83 duo) fans runs a lot and put out hot air. Screen is nice, keyboard is amazingly solid. a couple complaints (one dead pixel, case gets warm, little mini freezes a few times a day) but other than that it's fantastic.

hmmm thanks for that! bit worried about a few of those items though :/

I was thinking about the 2.17ghz duo... but wow if yours is getting too hot then hmmm.

How loud is it? lots of fan noise?

I'd forget the 2.16GHz Core Duo unless you absolutely need the extra power. I'd use the extra money to do aftermarket upgrades to the RAM and the HD.

Fan noise..well to be honest I'm still tryign to figure out the different settings (normal, ac, long life etc,) if you go all out max performance the fan isn't noisy, but it is sure louder than my old Dell 600M. It is noticable but when it is in my office I don't notice it at all, at home with the any background noise it is a non-factor, BUT I think that if i was sitting in a classroom I might kick it down a notch so the fan doesnt spin quite as much.
