    wanted to install vista on my A105-S4024 and keep geting problems i called toshiba and they say i would have to update my bios to 5.90 since mine was still at 2.10 or 2.20 any way updated the bios and got vista installed 2 days later computer wont boot when i turn it on the fan, hard drive, cd drive is on but the screen is just black did i update the bios wrong, i did what it said to do

    If was work after you did bios update then no you did,nt do wrong

    have try remove battery power let it sit for few? try external monitor?

    ok took the battry out and let it sit for a while and hook it up to an external monitor and still nothing

    a friend of mines said to take out the cmos battery and maybe it might reset everything i open it and saw there was a little battery but cant remove it since it solder on will shorting it out fix the problem

    solved the problem ram was not all the way in
