well i purchased the toshiba x300 from bestbuy, and im really starting to like it. the only thing that i dont like is the processor. the video card is surprisingly fast.
the x300 from bestbuy only has a 2.0 ghz processor and i would like to upgrade it to at least a 2.53 ghz processor.
so im just wondering how exactly would i go about changing it and what processor do i need to buy. also where can i get this from.
thanks, tornbacchus

It can be done. DO a search as someone has already taken pictures of the disassemby of the X300. I have the F55 and have taken mine apart and the CPU and GPU are the same as the X300. That is why I am waiting for the 9800M GTX to come out in the X300 and I will take one of the GPU's from that and upgrade my F55 with it. I also plan on upgrading my CPU to either a T9600 or X9100. God Bless

the laptop i have now, has some problems (keyboard being loose, buttons are messed) so im going to return this one and get another one of the same model. so im testing this one to see if i really want to keep it, but i probably am.
