    Hello All,
I am new here so please forgive if I have made any mistakes. I was given a toshiba tecra m9 pmt90e laptop by a friend. According to the toshiba upgrade advisor my laptop cannot run windows 7 but the windows 7 upgrade advisor says my laptop can windows 7 ultimate, enterprise and professional 32 bit editions. I have a toshiba product reovery disk which will allow me to reinstall windows vista business 32 bit. I have downloaded the drivers for both windows vista and windows 7 32 bit. I have noticed that my laptop has something called TPM (Trusted Platform Module) and a fingerprint scanner) I managed to find a driver on the toshiba website for the fingerprinter scanner but not for the tpm. I am planning on a clean installation of windows 7 ultimate 32 bit and removing windows vista business 32 bit. I am worried about messing up the boot screen, bios and TPM).
