does anyone know how to disable the top screen pull down that lets you use your cursor to pull down the secondary f1-f9 functions? it can get annoying accidentally bringing the cursor all the way up

    thanks

Not quite sure what you are referring to, but try bringing up the toolbar and right-clicking on an 'empty' space on the bar (not on one of the f-keys) and see if that brings up a mini-window with an option to disable.

    Good luck

I know what you mean, the transparent fkey tools that come down from the top of your screen when you move your mouse toward the top section. I think it's call the toshiba flash card case, well at least thats what I get when I click the transparent x on the upper left corner of my screen as I type this. I can't get the transparent list to come down at this moment it does it at inconvenient times and I also want to know how to disable/enable it. I'll be following this thread for any solutions too.

Click start...type "flash" in the search box..click on settings for flash cards...a window will pop up for the settings and then just mark the box for the option Toshiba Flash Cards...I believe this also prevent the flash cards from startup...someone correct me if i'm wrong. I only enable this when I make PPT presentation and need to connect my laptop to a projector..funny thing is my friend and I played CSS using the projector during class...LoL...Professor was like "Can I play a couple?"...lol

Start>Programs>TOSHIBA>Utilities>Settings for Flash Cards. You can uncheck the "Use the mouse to bring 'em down" option which might solve your problem. They should only come down when using the FN key after that.
