    i have a replacement sager on its way and if its has the same issue im raising hell and its going back.. ive been seriously considering a x205 as a option. but im tired of these dull 1 lamp 17" lcd's?? do any of the models use a dual lamp on thier 17" does anyone know i want a BRIGHT 17" display.. im so tired of these dull lifeless 17" ones? thanks

    the upcoming XPS's will have this, and their LCD's look amazing.

    By upcoming, do you mean other models than the XPS M1330 and M1730? What models will that be?

    M1730. Tomshardware did a comparison with an Alienware SLI machine and it amazingly beat it in the lcd department. Brighter brights and darker darks.
