This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    My external monitor worked fine until i removed the laptop and upon reconnecting had no external monitor
    I went through the properties display checked the box to extend the display to my external monitor
    The external monitor displays my XP laptop backround but none of the icons on the laptop I can drag stuff to the monitor but i want a clone of my laptop on the xternal monitor
    Aso i have lost the ability to use FN and F5 to give me the monitor choices using these keys gives me nothing Forgot to mention this is a toshiba L35 laptop Thanks for any help James
