    faster memory made my cpu faster?

    So I find this interesting.
    I checked my cpuid before upgrading and after upgrading from 1GB of DDR2-533 to 2GB of DDR2-667.
    The processor jumped to 581 MHz FSB and 1.75 GHz clock speed.
    Explanations anyone??

    Please do not confused with CPU's FSB (which isnt the cpu itself), however the Core Speed is.

    Ohh now i see. But why did you used a different program after installed the RAM. Should be using the same program before and after?
