for owners of toshiba satellite a300 series...

Hey there
following up from the title, i just want to get some feedback from toshiba satellite a300 owners as to whether this is a reliable laptop...any feedback?hows the screen?and the fans?any over heating issues? any other issues? would love to hear anything about this laptop that could help me coz im looking at buying it within a week if everything goes off well...thanks in advance

 

I purchased my Toshiba A305-S6864 back in September of 2008 and I must say that I have had little to no problems with it. The screen is great and the fans are not too loud. In terms of overheating, I have not experienced any issues with mine at all. Obviously, it does tend to get rather hot under heavy loads but that is expected of all notebooks. One minor issue that i'm having with mine is that the Atheros network adapter driver is acting strange and I will take it in for service to see what's wrong. Don't be discouraged about the network card, though, because before I took it in for another service it was working fine. Also, I am satisfied with their customer service as well (I have 1 year warranty).
