I would think not becuase a company like Toshiba makes its cards unique to their machines. I mean the GPU is not the standard MXM cards found in lappies like sager (please correct me if I'm wrong.) You could not just go buy a 460 card and drop it in. What might work is if you took a 460 card from another qosimo x505 that came with a 460 card, and tried putting it in. Since I don't think there is any real difference between the various qosimos, except the new SB ones (new mother board).

    Good luck

Let us know if you try.

That ebay card looks like one of the MXM cards I spoke about. I don't believe it would work in your lappy (some one correct if I'm wrong). Don't forget that even if you got this card to work in your lappy, you would have to be careful of burnout. Your thermal design may not be adequate to support the heat or power required to run this card. You could possibly fry your lappy.

Contact Toshiba and see if they will sell you a GTX 460 card.

    Will probably void your warranty.

Wouldn't it be easier to sell your current laptop and go for a SB model that comes with the GTX 460.

    yosizach,

It looks like Alexmuw has provided a solution for you. In fact, it seems like something I would look into once the GTX 460 can no longer run new games. Tech is simply awesome.

    Thumbs up Alexmu :D w.
