help me optimize!

I just a new toshiba satellite a200 th7. I noticed the notebook seems to be slow , most likely due to the bloatware and such. How would I go about restoring my notebook to factory settings with just the neccessities needed ie.bios drivers windows etc. Please any input would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance!

 

Install it, then remove everything manually.

I'd also recommend checking the above thread. There's a lot of good information in there for optimizing Vista (which I am making an assumption that your laptop has). It's one of the best Vista resources on this forum for speed.

 

Can somebody please tell me out of these programs which ones should i remove from my notebook?
To make things easier just put a 1 beside each one to uninstall, thanks in advance for anyone willing to take on the task.
Also how do I tell if I have the latest drivers?

- What's the battery life on the balanced profile with aero/indexing/sidebar on?
- What's the battery life on the power saving profile with aero/indexing/sidebar off?
- What's the 3dmark 05 or 06 score?
