    after hibernate or standby it wont turn on screen, I looked with a flashlight nothing. I can hear the normal startup stuff so its running but no screen. if I restart its just fine. Xp sp3 core duo 2.0 ghz 2 gig memory

    Try to update the bios if that doesn't help try to reinstall windows.
