Hi, anybody with this problem or answer, can you help (thanks):

The laptop was preloaded with Microsoft Windows Media Player 9, which came with the recovery CD software. The media keys works fine.

However, when I downloaded Windows Media Player 10 "from the Microsoft website", the media keys doesn't work with Media player anymore. :(

How can I solve this problem??? Or, do I have to format my laptop which is something that I don't want to do.

if i remember i think you have to stay with windows media player 9 cause the keys are only configured with that program if you update it then it wont work.I have a toshiba satellite and that happend to me too,you just have to stick with windows 9 unless there is some app that can configure the keys with the new media player
