    how long to charge new laptop batteries?

    Ok just got a new toshiba sat pro a200 laptop today. I have had it charging for 4 hours so far and light has gone from green to blue and was just wodnering if there was a set amount of time you should charge new laptops before using or can you use straight away?

    No set time. You can use a laptop straight from the box. The light change probably means it's fully charged.

    My battery charges from about 5% to 100% in two hours now.
    Probably was longer when I first got it.
