just got it yesterday, checked out toshiba.com support page and it shows 2 options to get more space on ssd. so I try the easy one first which is supposed to move users file from ssd to hd. So I download the toshiba migrating folder utililty tool and launch it. I follow the directions and users file is still on ssd and hd is empty. this is my first post and my first pc with more then 1 hd so I'm a noobee. can any body help thanks

    Welcome tanman66t,

I tried the things you were referring to and just got fed-up  . What I wound up doing was simply buying a 128GB ssd from Cruical. It just made life simpler for me. The ssd drive that comes with the 898, is just good for the operating system, IMHO. So, if you can, simply buy a bigger ssd drive, or don't use it for anything but the OS.

    Good Luck.

    And again welcome ;)

Here are some steps to help free up HDD Space.

1.)Download Ccleaner (google it) run it and get rid of all those temp files
2.)Turn off Hibernation if you dont use it, Press windows key + r type in cmd press enter then type in "powercfg -h off"
3.)Decrease the size of your page file.
4.)Delete all contents in C:\windows\software distribution\download. They are just downloaded windows updates that you no longer need.

Depending on how long you have had your computer this could save anywhere from 2-10gb
