    :mad: I'm trying to put XP on the x205 and can't get past it not reconizing the harddrive. Where do I get the x205 sata driver? I can use nlite or usb floppy?
    Please help! argh!!!

    The SATA driver is on intel's website, just got to www.intel.com and search for the mobile 965 chipset drivers and one of them should be the SATA drivers for XP, but you will need a usb floppy drive to put the drivers on a floppy disk and when the installation begins press F6 to have XP look at the floppy disk for the SATA drivers.     Where! there are like 20 that copy to the floppy. Need link or driver model.

    Thank you!! We actually ended downloading all the drivers from toshiba and then put them into NLITE and went in smoothly!

    Now we can't find network drivers. Wireless or internal.

    is there no way to get XP to recognize the hard drives without buying an external floppy?????? What a PITA!
