Hi, all --
I see a few other posts for folks who need the recovery CDs for a Sat A205 5804 just like I do. I am beginning to wonder if Tosh puts them in *any* of the packages.
Does anyone have the discs available and is there any way for me to get them? It's been more than 30 days (and who knew that they're supposed to come in this day and age of machines having recovery partitions, which this one doesn't?), so Tosh wants to charge me $25 for a copy :-(
TIA & LMK
:-D

If you have a friend who has a copy of the OS that your laptop shipped with then all you have to do is go to Toshiba's website and download the appropriate drivers. If not your only other option is to buy the OS itself from MS which costs like $15 for a replacement disk and then get all your other drivers from Toshiba's site or you can buy the recovery discs from Toshiba.
But they don't come with the system as they put the image file on the hard drive and install a utility whereby you can create the recovery discs. Did you check to see if it's still on the laptop? -
I have an a205-s5804 and it came with rescue cds x2
i need recovery CDs for an A205-25804, too
