The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    hey,

    so I only use my satellite p100-st9752 (got for $999 :) last december) for gaming.

    I m wondering if I can upgrade the T5600 core 2 duo and the Go 7900GTX gpu.

    If the gpu is MXM module, can i put something like a 8800m GTX in it??

    I dont mind opening the comp up, but I rather not have to solder

    if i posted in the wrong thread, please point to me where I should post these questions.
